Here is a little bit about some of your instructors…

Dax & Sarah – one of the most popular Lindy hop couples in modern times!   Technical gurus that give fresh, easy to understand perspectives on partnering & how to improve your movement. They have developed great techniques for teaching WHOLE BODY DANCING & have a wonderful knack at getting across difficult concepts! They have been on television recently in a music video and also on the Paula Abdul Dance show, Live To Dance! These guys are so super HOT right now; they are booked everywhere and we are fortunate they could fit us into their busy schedules.

Patrick & Natasha – this highly accomplished couple soars at bringing edgy new moves, high energy, polished routines,  and fun to the global dance community! They are coming all the way from France so, grab them while they are here!  These guys make your classes so much fun with everything they teach: watch out for severe bellyaches just from laughing alone!

Bobby White – a Champion dancer adept at Jazz, Balboa and Lindy, he will challenge your creativity, thrill you with his knowledge of history, amuse you with his anecdotes, & beguile you with his charm!  He is a non-stop force in the dance community and vintage enthusiast here to share as much as he can in a weekend!  You will see him teaching Solo movement, Lindy Hop, Balboa, and giving an inspiring Lunch Time lecture; don’t miss out!

Welcome to Le Hot Sauce VII, 2012.

This is our 7th edition of “Le Hot Sauce,” which started out about 5 years ago here in the Bay area.  We are bringing this event to you to help give you a wonderful dancing experience & share with you the following: Highly skilled instructors, Fantastic Classes with different levels in Lindy & Balboa, Specialty tasters, 2 different levels of Jack N Jill Contests, LIVE MUSIC, lots of social dancing, Chips & Salsa, Special Performances, a chance to meet new people on the dance floor, a chance to gather with friends, & an energetic vibe, a great learning opportunity.  This is really going to be a unique Lindy Hop event & a very positive experience.

The main events are at CCSF (City College of San Francisco) and if you are taking public transportation, please use the BART stop at Balboa.  It is a short walk from that station to the school – very, very convenient.  We think walking with friends is a great idea.

Everyone, please be smart about traveling in a foreign city and leave time for traffic, public transportation delays *(reading maps etc), and be smart and travel with a buddy when possible.  We will help you to buddy up when leaving events and you can post on our Facebook page about needing rides as well.

We are super thrilled to have you here in the Bay area and to share in this dance experience with us.  Thank you so much!
